Unlock Ministry Potential

Taking ministries into their next season.

We walk with ministry teams and leaders to launch new initiatives and accelerate existing ones. We partner with fund managers, individuals, and estates who want to fund meaningful work. Support a ministry we’re already working with, or connect us with one you believe in.

Value for Your Fund

Help ministries take their next step.

Pair funding with a focused season of hands-on support, so ministries can move forward, grow in capacity, and learn from real experience.

Bring the vision to life.

Give promising ministries the practical support to turn a calling into something their community can experience, from early discernment to a working initiative.

Build lasting capacity.

Strengthen the people, resources, and systems that help a ministry lead its own work and carry it forward after a season of accompaniment.

Inform future funding.

Understand what works, where to adapt, and what a ministry is ready for next, bringing practical learning into future funding and support decisions.

A Strategic Partnership

Two ways to begin. One shared purpose.

Connect a fund’s mission with a ministry’s readiness—and the capacity to move forward.

Your Fund
Our Ministry

Bring a ministry to us.

You know a ministry with a promising opportunity. We work with its leaders to discern the accompaniment need and shape the right support.

Our Ministry
Your Fund

Let us bring one to you.

We identify a ministry ready to build its accompaniment capacity. We bring that opportunity to a partner fund, with the context and a proposed path forward.

Zero to One

We accompany ministries from vision to launch.

The ministries approaching your fund have a calling they want to bring to life. Alongside funding, they may need practical help to shape and launch the work.

Glass Canvas Ministries works alongside their leaders for a focused season of accompaniment, from early discernment through a working initiative and the learning that follows. We help ministries build the people, practices, and systems to carry the work forward themselves.

Our Services

Ready to partner with you today.

Bring us a ministry or an emerging project. Discern, Plan & Design, Build, Pilot, and Learn form one season of accompaniment: from zero to one, or from one to two in a new season. Each cycle helps the ministry grow in clarity and capacity to lead its own work.

Discern

Understand the people, the calling, and the opportunity.

Plan & Design

Shape the accompaniment pathway and the roles around it.

Build

Create the practical resources and systems the ministry needs.

Pilot

Prepare the team and try the first version in its community.

Learn

A ministry team in a discernment sprint
Discern

Discern the calling. Align the team.

Focused sprints bring your ministry’s team together to discern and align around what comes next—whether that’s identity, communication and marketing, or product development.

Some sprints span five days; others are shorter. Each is shaped around your team’s needs and calling, helping you reach shared decisions and practical next steps.

Life Restoration · Identity & Direction

Discernment helped Life Restoration articulate its direction with greater confidence. Jake describes the shift from a spinning compass to a clear sense of where the ministry is going.

“We’ve been operating with a spinning compass and now I see north.”

Renewed confidence in their calling.

Brotherhood of Hope · Vocation, Identity & Mission

A sprint helped the Brothers clarify their vocation, identity, and mission. With renewed confidence in their calling, they went on to work with an external partner to develop their new missional website.

Men’s Retreat Experience

Archdiocese of Vancouver

With RCAV’s men’s ministry leaders, we helped run a retreat and then return for a new season informed by the first. Learning about the need for connection afterward shaped the next retreat and a model for ongoing men’s cohorts and follow-up.

Learn

Find what works. Carry it forward.

Every season leaves us with something to learn. Together with the ministry and its fund, we reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and what the experience reveals about the calling and approach.

The aim is a ministry ready to thrive: clear about its direction, able to communicate its own story, and equipped to take its next steps with confidence.

Shared Learning · Ministry Validation · Next-Step Clarity
Learn · Outcomes

Funds learn what works.

See what helps a ministry serve its people, where the approach needs to change, and what those lessons mean for future support.

Ministries find clarity.

Affirm the ministry in its calling and test its approach against real experience. Understand what to keep, what to refine, and where to go next.

The work becomes their own.

Leave with the clarity and capacity to lead, explain the ministry in their own words, and carry it forward themselves.

Core Values

What guides us.

We are a community rooted in our Christian faith, united across traditions by a shared devotion to Jesus Christ and building his Kingdom.

We have discovered our values by seeing the way the Holy Spirit moves extraordinarily in our team.

Our Charisms

Speak the unspoken

There is freedom in leaving nothing in the dark. When we give each other — and the people we serve — permission to say the hard thing out loud, walls come down. A healthy team outperforms a smart one, every time. We try to be the kind of people others feel safe being honest around.

Co-innovation

The best idea winning isn’t enough. What we’re after is something that couldn’t have been made alone — the thing that emerges when we bring our combined knowledge, our distinct gifts, and our attentiveness to how God is moving, into the same room. We come alongside the people we serve, not in front of them.

Line illustration — Co-innovation

Called and anointed

We believe every person and every organization has a God-given calling that is specific, real, and worth protecting. Our job isn’t to impose a direction — it’s to help people discern and live the one that’s already theirs. We hold each other accountable to that too.

Line illustration — Called and anointed

God-centered identity

We don’t earn our identity. We receive it. That freedom — the freedom of knowing who you are before you produce anything — is what makes creativity possible without the weight of proving yourself. We try to work from that place, and to help others find it.

Line illustration — God-centered identity

See the whole person

Who we are can’t be compartmentalized. Formation happens in the whole of life — in work and in suffering, in seasons of clarity and seasons of confusion. We try to hold that for the people on our team, and for the people we serve. This is how trust gets built.

Line illustration — See the whole person

Freedom to bless

We rely on the provision of God, which means we know it doesn’t run out. That security gives us the freedom to give generously — of our time, our tools, our presence — without the scarcity that makes organizations small. We want to be the kind of community that blesses freely because we’ve been freely blessed.

Line illustration — Freedom to bless

Ecumenical Inheritance

We believe there is far more that unites us than divides us. While we come from different historic Christian traditions and may hold differing theological, liturgical, and practical convictions, we are united in our shared faith in Jesus Christ and devotion to His Kingdom. We choose to approach one another with humility, honor, and charity, seeking to preserve the unity of the Spirit while remaining faithful to our convictions.
